1. How long after hair transplant do you see results?

• Arrange for proper transportation to and from the hair transplantsurgery center.
• Avoid alcohol or smoking at least a week before your hair transplantationsurgery.

4. What are the do and don'ts after a hair transplant?

Do’s:

• Sleep with your head elevated for the first 7 days, or however long the swelling prevails.
• Be very gentle when washing your hair for the first 5 days, starting with the 3rd day.
• Ask your surgeon which medication is safe to take if you are taking any.
• Hydrate well after the hair transplant surgery.
• Use a gentle conditioner to help with the itching if any.

Don’t’s:

• Sleep flat on your tummy or side
• Rub your new hairline against a pillow.
• Wash your hair for the first 48 hours.
• Wear any hats or caps for the first three to four days.
• Expose your scalp to direct sunlight
• Engage in heavy exercise or activities that cause you to sweat a lot in the days following your hair transplantation procedure

5. How long Does FUE hair transplant take to heal?

The donor area heals within five to six days appearing as pink dots, and the marks become hidden as the remaining donor hair grows after the hair transplant.

Within 2 to 3 weeks after surgery, the transplanted hair will fall out and most people see new hair growth after 6 to 9 months post the hair transplantation surgery.
