Dr. S. Priya is a dermatologist with an interest in cosmetic dermatology, anti-aging treatments, and various skin conditions.

Academic Background:

Dr. Priya completed her MBBS at Thanjavur Medical College before working as a Research Associate in the Department of Endocrinology and a Co-Investigator in Clinical Trials at Christian Medical College, Vellore. She obtained her MD in Dermatology from PSG Institute of Medical Science and Research, Coimbatore.

Professional Experience:

Dr. Priya's experience includes her tenure as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Dermatology at PSG Institute of Medical Science and Research. She is currently a Visiting Consultant at Nova Cosmetic Surgery Center and a Senior Consultant at VLCC Health Care Limited.

Specialized Training:

Dr. Priya has completed a Fellowship in Cosmetology at Thaj Laser Center and training in Face Thread Lift, Fillers, and Botulinum Toxin Injection at Aesthederm Training Academy, Mumbai. She is also a certified trainer for eyebrow microblading, Nano blading, lip blush, and BB glow at iBrow Academy.

Dr. Priya's areas of interest include cosmetic dermatology, anti-aging treatments, eyebrow microblading, lip blush, chemical peeling, cosmetic camouflage, immuno-bullous diseases, and connective tissue disorders.

Awards and Publications:

Dr. Priya's academic awards include:

• First prize in Oral Presentation at ACSICON-2014 for her work on Platelet Rich Fibrin in chronic non-healing leg ulcers.
• First Prize in Oral presentation at CUTICON-2014 for her research on Platelet Rich Plasma in Androgenetic Alopecia.

Dr. Priya has also contributed to various publications, including articles on allergic contact dermatitis and kumkum-induced allergic contact dermatitis in international journals.

Achievements and Contributions:

Dr. Priya's research on Systemic Sclerosis-induced ILD, the efficacy of Platelet Rich Fibrin in chronic non-healing ulcers, and the efficacy of PRP in Androgenetic alopecia has led her to receive the IADVL National Scholarships for Young Researchers. She has also served as the Scientific Co-Secretary for DERMACON 2016 and the Scientific Secretary for CUTICON 2020.
