What is SMP?

Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) is a cosmetic tattooing procedure that uses tiny pigment deposits on the scalp to create the appearance of hair density. It may be considered for thinning hair or to camouflage selected scalp scars after an assessment. It does not grow new hair or treat the cause of hair loss.

How Does SMP Work?

During an SMP session, technicians use specialized equipment to meticulously apply microdots of pigment to the scalp, replicating the appearance of hair follicles. The process involves careful consideration of hairline design, density, and shading with the aim of creating a natural appearance. Results vary from person to person.
